Welcome to the SoloMumHub

Your Go-To Hub for life as a Solo Mum.

Being a solo mum can be overwhelming, isolating, and full of challenges: parenting, finances, self-care, work, relationships, and managing it all. When my journey started, I found the support out there is scattered, hard to find, or doesn’t feel relevant.

SoloMumHub was created to change that.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Simplify life: Practical tips to ease the load and create more space for joy and freedom.

  • Trusted resources: Information and tools in one place, saving time and reducing stress.

  • Answers that matter: Guidance for the most common questions solo mums face.

  • Community: Hear stories from other mums to inspire your journey and feel less alone.

Built from my own experience as a solo mum, and shaped by what I hear and see in other mums’ lives, this Hub brings together practical tips, trusted resources, and community support in one place. It’s still early days and I’m not claiming perfection or knowing it all, so if you have something to add, I’d love to hear from you.

This Hub is for sharing: your wins, your hacks, your questions, your favourite services, even the messy bits. If it helped you, it might help someone else. Add your story, resource, or tip and become part of a growing community of others who get it. You can get in touch through the contact form below.

If you are new here and you don’t know where to start….

These are three things Solo mums search for most:

The purpose of this Hub is to make life easier, less lonely, and more empowered for every solo mum and their kids in New Zealand.

Whether you’re not a solo mum or you’re joining us from overseas, you’re still very welcome! If these resources make it easier to support a solo mum or child in your life - as a parent, grandparent, friend, or carer, I’m glad you’re here.

Have an idea, question, or resource to share? Help shaping this Hub - whether it’s to say hi, suggest something new, sharing your own story or explore working together, I’d love to hear from you!
